Rules of Engagement

1. NO WHINING! We can be real about our struggles, but we face them and we don’t back down. Pity is useless to us. We play offense, not defense. (The Parkinson's Fight Club)

2. BE KIND: We're all in this fight together and we want to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. (The Parkinson's Fight Club)

3. NO PROMOTIONS OR SPAM: Give more than you take in this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. (The Parkinson's Fight Club)

4. RESPECT EVERYONE'S PRIVACY: Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group. (The Parkinson's Fight Club).

5. THIS IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR DOCTORS: This is meant to be a catalyst to help you understand the disease process, and options for treatment and learn from other people's experiences. All changes in medications, supplements and treatment options should be cleared with your physician. In addition, before starting an exercise program, you should talk to your doctor about your cardiac health, and strategies to increase activity incrementally.
